Creating Gaurav: Redchillies’ VFX for the movie Fan
October 26th, 5.30PM - Viewconference 2016, Turin (Italy). Redchillies is an indian VFX Studio that made the effects of the movie The Fan.
The biggest challenge was to make younger the lead actor - a very famous actor in India - in order to give him the appearance he had in the mid-90s, that when he was about 20 years.
For this movie, about 200 people worked in different roles for Redchillies, some of those worked in outsourcing.
The realization took about six months in research and development and about one year to complete all shots.
