Web application for advertising media planning: UX analysis and UI design (2007)
Web application developed by Taiprora to allow the customer to manage, plan and distribute the budget for advertising on different media.
The System allows the client to manage the media-slots (the media where to publish the ads), assign them a geolocation (country and market area) and a target audience (such as man and woman).
This web application, called "Media Planning", is designed to set the media planning visually, in order to always have an eye on the distribution of ads over a timeline (weeks or months), both on which and how many magazines, a same Ad type is scheduled to be planned.
For each publication, the web application keeps track of the publication procedures on the specific media: for example if the selected photo has been received by the photographer/agency, if the PDF of the selected Ad has been sent to the magazine's office, etc.
A complete reporting system allows the Client to keep track of the publications made over time, providing information on spending in a given period of time for a series of variables: available budget / total budget, total cost, targets, countries, medias, etc.
Developed in 2007.
Role in this project
Within the Taiprora team, I participated in the preliminary analysis with the Client and I dealt with the subsequent analysis.
In particular, I initially carried out an UX analysis, then an UI design analysis and in general the graphic interface design, converting everything into HTML + CSS + Javascript code for the developers , who then implemented the dynamic and communication sections to and from databases, in Microsoft .NET + SQL database.
